More than half the articles I have gotten are all about turning "American Idiot" into a movie. However they all just say the same exact thing, so I wont even bother posting them, but just so you guys know, Green Day has the "the media" buzzing with the idea of making the new album into a movie. I do have some great news though, "American Idiot" is expected to be at number one on both the Australia and USA charts. Read more here

I've got a lot of articles lately, and im falling behind in my work. I will be updating the Fan Music, Streaming Media, adding some more videos and I will have another concert for you guys to get soon. I told you guys last week about GDA getting DVD's to sell to you guys. Well we are still working on the process but i got my DVD yesterday to check it out. And it's awesome . It has 7 shows, including one from the pre-dookie era in Orlando, and the VH1 behind the music, you will learn a lot about Green Day with the VH1 special. On a couple of videos the quality of sound or video isn't great, but the ones that are make up for it. It's a really great DVD and Mike (the DVD guy) is currently working on Vol. 2, which i assume will be even better. As soon as we figure out how we wanna do this we will start selling them through GDA. Out of every sale, he is going to give us a small cut so we can pay for more stuff for GDA. So it will be a win win situation. Give me a day and i will collect a few mins from the DVD to show you guys what it's all about.

Hey idiots. First and foremost, if you haven't already (and you definitely should fucking have already), PICK UP A COPY OF AMERICAN IDIOT! Preferably the Special Edition, it's well worth the 10 fuckin' extra dollars. Anyway, since the album's out, as are the offical lyrics. Looking back, all those nights slaving over a hot monitor and headphones pressed against my ears, was worth the early lyrics. We got pretty much all of 'em remotely correct. Good enough to sing along to. Anyway, I posted ALL of the new lyrics, thanks SO much to Amber for typing it up for us. Again, check 'em out here. Also, new to the American Idiot Streaming page, on the GDA forum, I (did my best) to write up, to the extent of my knowledge, the basic overall story of the American Idiot album. After Green Day's performance of American Idiot on Dave Letterman on Monday (9-20) the band got to "rub elbows" with John Kerry afterwards. Don't they all look so excited and happy. Well the guys are already starting to make thier mark on the world, again. The song, American Idiot is the number one song on iTunes, and it's also still number one on the Modern Rock Tracks. American Idiot the album, is also The Number One Album on iTunes.

After 4 fucking years of waiting, the new CD hits stores today, and the wait was well worth it. The CD is beyond all expectations, unlike anything ANYONE has ever done before, and is by far the greatest CD by Green Day to date. So if you haven't listened to it, GET YOUR ASS TO THE STORE AND BUY IT!. For the rest of you, I have some articles for you to read about the new CD.

Hey guys. How are ya? Thanks everyone for sending in their shit to me, I've got a ton of stuff to tell you about. First of all, that picture to the right is one of the 13 pictures taken at the L.A. show on September 16th. View the rest of the photos at Truckzone. Speaking of concerts, just a little warning to everyone out there planning to get tickets to a Green Day show in your area: GET THEM FAST. I've had a lot of e-mails from people complaining that their shows have sold out in literally minutes, or even seconds. In fact, I decided to go to the Philadelphia show on October 29th, but floor tickets were sold out. I head on over to eBay and paid over $100 for 2 floor tickets. So if you're going to Philly, look for the girl in the GDA.com shirt. :)
Radio stations around the country are doing a "Green Day Special" tomorrow night (September 19th) at various different times. From what I've heard, they are listening to tracks off American Idiot, and Green Day is doing an interview. Two radios stations I know for sure are Y100 Philadelphia and WBCN 104.1 Boston. Check with your local radio station for availablity and times.

Hey guys! I just wanted to come on and thank everyone for the tremendous support GDA has been getting over the last few days. The new album is amazing, and I'm glad I could be a part in sharing it with you. Since Matt & Andres has given their 2 cents about the record, I will too, simply because this is my website and I can. I now have a new all time favorite Green Day song, it's "Wake Me Up When September Ends". That song is just amazing. I also believe that if "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" was released as a single, it'll just blow the Billboard Charts away.
Anyway, we have gotten a record breaking number of votes in the past few days at the Green Day Topsites List. At the GDA Forum it was suggested that maybe we could reach 2,000 votes. Just at the main page here, there were 248 people on the site at one point! Now that is a GDA record.
Last but not least, I updated 2 pages today, Lyrics & Discography (corrections to the AI tracklist and lyrics), and also the Videos page. Have fun.

Okay, if all you fuckers don't adore me yet, start to. I've spent the last 2 goddamn hours, (with my trusty group of friends consisting of Tracy), to write these lyrics up for you. They're perfect. They should be perfect. My eyes are crossing. I've listened to Letterbomb 604 times and finally got the lyrics down. Well first off Id like to say Im really happy to be part of the GDA team. And for my first update, I wanted to let everyone know about the new pages, the cursors page and the desktop icons page. You can download various cursors Ive made and use them on your computer. I also added some wallpapers I made to the wallpaper downloads page. Also, if you use the web browser Mozilla, GDA.com can now be viewed correctly in that browser. Oh and check out the media player at the top right corner with Green Day's 2 newest songs, "Letterbomb" and "American Idiot".
Update #1: Revolver Magazine article and Courtney wants to know if anyone knows what font is used on the cover of American Idiot. -Courtney

It's where you can listen to all of Green Day's albums (almost all) and get the lyrics and the tabs. We also have Fan Music there. Hey everyone. Welcome to GDA's new layout! As you can see, it's not 100% different from the old layout, but it's hard to find a good layout when we have so much information. If you see some errors, don't worry, they will be fixed soon. Also look for the return of Fan of the Week soon. And if you have any Fan Art, Downloads (i.e. Wallpaper), or Lookalikes, from now on post them in the GDA Forum. I am forever grateful to Mike of Poprocks & Coke, who helped me figure out what was wrong when I was in the developing process. Also thank you goes to Ace, who helped make this site compatible with Mozilla (even though we didn't get to fix it yet). We'll be adding things thoughout the week. Oh and by the way, Matt made a new AIM Expression for American Idiot. Check it out in the AOL AIM section. Enjoy!
