+ Fellow punkers. I regret to inform you all that Pogo Paradise, which was supposed to be released yesterday (11.19.02) has still not been shipped to any stores. To my understanding, Warner has pushed back the release date of Pogo Paradise because of "license issues." My local cd store said that when they know the date they would call me so when I find out, I'll be sure to let you all know. I'm as disappointed as you are :( +

I got an e-mail from Trista that 94.7 NRK, is auctioning of a Director's chair autographed by Green Day. It should be sometime next week on the Gustav and Daria show (6-9 a.m. PST) and is broadcast via Internet at their website. The proceeds go to benefit a local children's cancer center. + Hey everyone. Nothing much new here. My friend Barbara and I recently listened to 3 of the audio messages posted on GreenDay.com which have new songs. You can download these songs from the Multimedia Page. These songs are (click to download them) What About Today, Things I Heard Today, and Lazy Days. Now, we both spent many hard hours trying to translate these songs to lyrics. I have posted the lyrics of 2 of the songs here: Things I Heard Today and Lazy Days. If anyone sees a mistake in these lyrics, thinks that a line or two could be different, can figure out the lyrics to What About Today, or you made tabs for either of the 3 songs, please E-Mail them to me and I will surely post it. + Happy Halloween everyone! I hope everyone had a great one. Correction to the date on the Billie Joe appearance on UPN's show "Haunted". Billie Joe's appearance will be Tuesday, November 12th not November 5th. He will be playing a gambler. GreenDay.com has a new birthday e-card. I've made a few changes at GDA, moving images and stuff. That move basically affects The Picture Vault, which has gained some new images, particulary on the guy's personal pages. If you find a broken image, please let me know, either by sending us an e-mail or submitting the form (on the contact us page). I've also added a new Winamp skin, new Wallpaper, new Fan Art, and new Look Alikes. I still got a lot to update yet though, this weekend. +

We also have new Green Day Dolls, Look Alikes, Links, Fan List Additions, a new Mp3 of the Week, a new Fan of the Week, not to mention the AOL AIM Buddy Icons page includes more than just icons (some new), check that out here. I hoping to add other bands besides Green Day to that page and dolls for other bands as well. We also have 2 new page additions, Complete Song List and Green Day's Awards. Too much. I'm beat. + Hey guys. Sorry about the forum being down, something installed didn't exactly work out right. The Instant Message feature is still down though. I'll try to get it fixed as soon as I can. Last night, Matthew Fox from the new UPN TV show, Haunted was wearing, well, what I'm wearing now, the black and red dragon Green Day shirt. He was seen wearing the shirt on the The Craig Kilborn Show. At least he has good taste in music. Brian from Greenday.net wants you to enter their "Crush" contest, so do it, dammit. Due to some complaints, the Re: Green Day page has been updated, also the Didja know? page, Autographs (updated), and The Fan of the Week (updated). I've got some new stuff for AIM, well Matt has some new stuff for that, as well as the Green Day Rare Items page, more Green Day Dolls, and Fan Art. + I know it's been a week since I've updated, but I'm sorry and I've been busy. Actually I have updated, I just didn't bother to announce it. Anyway. Tre is in some of the commercials for the upcoming Jackass movies (he was at the premiere), so keep an eye out for the commerical on MTV. GreenDay.com posted a Halloween E-card that you can send your friends. See it on the right. Basketcase is going to be in some new video game called "BMX XXX" from Acclaim. The game comes out November 19th and there will be 19 other songs along with Baskecase. GDA has 2 new pages, Fan of the Week and Re: Green Day. Look for more soon. + Hey guys! I had an awesome weekend. My friends and I went to see Good Charlotte in Philadelphia, PA. And we got to meet them! It was so awesome. They are a great live band. I'll give you more details about that and show you my signed CD inlay in coming days. If any of you guys were there, e-mail me! Recently, it has been reported that the Ramones' Tribute Album (with Outsider by Green Day) has been pushed back to be released December 24. So mark your calendars. In a few days, new pages will be here on GDA. I'm having a CD of the Moment page (which will be picked by the webmasters whenever we want) and a Fan of the Week page. So right now I'm looking for our first Fan of the Week so the page can debut. If you're interested, send an e-mail with your picture attached to fanoftheweek@greendayauthority.com. Along with your picture, include a few bits of information about yourself. Like where you live (you don't need to include a town...either country or state and country are fine), your age, how long you've liked Green Day, and what you would say to them if you ever were to meet them.
