+ 09.30.01 + Collector's Corner, Changes, New Links, GDXFS -=Courtney=-
+Collector's Corner is finished and now up for viewing. However, I need more Buyers/Sellers. Check out the page for more details on how you can get involved. I fixed the contact us page, I think it was being retarted, since I wasn't getting any feedback from it. Plus I think some people were skeptical about that message box that came up. Anyway it's good to go now, so if you want to get in contact with me and/or Thad, go there and send that in. I'm still trying to find out what the fuck is wrong with the downloads page, but since I had no luck, I'll keep ya posted. Green Day Fans 2001 & Michi's Green Day Site were added to the links page. Last but not least, I heard that GDXFS is coming back October 11. Be sure to check that out when it comes up because it has always been an awesome Green Day site. Tomorrow we won't be updating, it's our 11 months so I get a free meal at the Olive Garden. haha. :) To satisfy your need for me, check out this anti-Green Day page. It's seriously a riot...especially the message board! +

+ 09.28.01 + International Superhits, Websites, Contest. -=Courtney=-
+The U.S.A. just lucked out again, International Superhits' release date has been pushed back here in the states till November 13. On that same day, Green Day's Official Website will be getting a new design. The release date for the greatest hits album remains the same in Europe, which is October 22. Green Day Basketcase is having a contest to win Green Day's fourth album, Insomniac. They need 100 people to enter the contest to choose a winner, so to enter send your name and address to bcasesweepstakes@hotmail.com or check out the website to enter. And last but not least, Reprise Records plans to launch their new Green Day website, Greendaymusic.com, in mid-October. +
+ 09.26.01 + Updates, more Layout changes. -=Courtney=-
+Howdy ho neighbors. Happy 1000+ hits for me! I changed the layout a little bit since the last time. Some ringtones have been added to the Downloads page. But for some reason, the page cuts off at the bottom. I'm not sure why this is occurring, the HTML codes are correct, but I'll try to find out why the fuck it's doing it. I finally decided what I'm going to do about the webmaster situation. I've taken a shine to keep everything up and running myself, so I'm gonna keep it that way. My boyfriend is being added to this page as a co-webmaster however, just in case I need someone to fall back on. Anyway I'm currently working on the new pages. They should be up soon.+
+ 09.23.01 + Layout Changes. -=Courtney=-
+Hey kiddies, what's new? I changed the top of this page again. I'm never satisfied. heh. Anyway, I'm going to be working on 3 new pages. The Autographs, Concert Reviews, and Collector's Corner. If you have anything to add to these pages, e-mail me. C'mon, don't be shy, I hardly hear anything from the people who visit this site. Some shit was added to the Downloads page if you wanna check that out. Hopefully more on that page will be coming soon. And last but not least, a new fan has been added to The Fan List. Keep checking back for updates!
+ 09.22.01 + Layout Changes. -=Courtney=-
+I did some layout changes, as you see. The icons, if you wanna call them that, on the menubar are different, and I put the the main page in a different order. Plus this news page has a different background. Yay. If you like the changes, don't e-mail me or anything. Hehe, that's just my little sly way of being proud of myself, since no one e-mails me or says anything about my page anyway. No new page work yet. And last but not least, GDUK is another addition to the affiliate menu. Not like anyone hasn't been there before anyway. Welp, I gotta be heading out. See ya. +
+ 09.20.01 + Just nonsense. -=Courtney=-
+Apparently, radio stations have been sent a list of "lyrically questionable" songs that are being determined for play on the radio. In the list, Green Day's Brain Stew, Bangles' Walk Like an Egyptian, Lynyrd Skynyrd's Tuesday's Gone, and Limp Bizkit's Break Stuff. Yeah...I don't understand it either. I'm sure the next time I listen to Brain Stew or Tuesday's Gone, I'll think of 09.11.01. Fucking morons. For more bullshit and songs, click here.+
+ 09.18.01 + Surprise Show, Page updates -=Courtney=-
+As far as I understand from 409 Online, Green Day played a surprise set at the Adeline Records Showcase on 924 Gilman Street on Sunday, 9.16.01. Apparently, they used borrowed instruments from the previous bands and rocked the house. Anyway, I wasn't there so I don't know. Couple of updates to the page. The track listing and lyrics for International Superhits, set to release 11.06.01, has been added to the Lyrics and Discography page. More pictures have been added to the pictures page also. New affiliate, Basketcase was also added. And well...that's about it. Until I upload the "new" font I have and work on the Collector's Corner page I have in the works. See ya then.+
+ 09.13.01 + Recovering from Tragedy, New Pages, Album cover. -=Courtney=-
+God bless America. That's all I can say about the events that occured on Tuesday. They thought we'd grow weaker, but the United States has only grown stronger. Some of us are angry, some are sad, and some have mixed emotions. Being a mere 90 minutes away from New York City, the tragedy has hit us hard here at home. Many here are frantically searching for their loved ones, but all they can do is sit and hope. The local radio station I listen to, 95.1 WZZO, has collected more than $100,000 in donations for the American Red Cross. So has another radio station, Cat Country 96 (yes I hate country to, but that's not the point), has also collected nearly $100,000 in donations. That's an amazing turnout for a small valley in Pennsylvania. Everyone seems to have an American flag now on their car or at their homes. It's just amazing. But I would like to say one thing directly to these terrorists. You thought we'd fall and grow weak. That's not the nature of us. We stand strong and proud and we will defeat you. And you people who are dancing in the streets and are laughing, this is not a joke. The United States will wipe those smiles right off your faces, and show you and the world that we will not tolerate such behavior. We have NATO and 18 other Nations behind us. We have helped many times in the past, now it's time for other nations to help us. For those who do not believe that America has helped so many, read this speech, from Canadian Gordon Sinclair several years ago. That's all I have to say about Tuesday, before I get pissed off even more than I already am. The American Flag and words on the top of this page, will remain up for at least a month. Any other comments about what I have said or what else you think about this, you can share them with me by e-mail or by signing my guestbook. +
+I'm considering about putting up a page in which fans and visitors of this page can put up items they are looking for or want to sell. It's going to be called Collector's Corner. Good idea or bad idea? E-mail me your thoughts. The cover for Green Day's new greatest hits collections "International Superhits", which will be released in Europe October 22 and the USA November 6, is below. It and the track listing will soon be listed on the Lyrics & Discography page. Any other ideas for new pages are also welcome. +

+ 09.11.01 + Tragedy in the United States of America -=Courtney=-
+There will be no updates of this website right now. Today, at about 8:45AM, one of two airplanes flew into the South Building of the World Trade Center in New York City. Minutes later, a second plane crashed into the North Building of the World Trade Center. About an hour later a third plane crashed into the Pentagon in Washington, D.C....then a fourth near Pittsburgh, PA. The World Trade Center's building eventually collapsed. Hundreds maybe thousands of people injured, thousands of people killed, and destruction, chaos, and agony....for no clear purpose. All passengers and flight crews's lives' were lost. Innocent people, the children, spouses, friends, colleagues, taken from their loved ones so suddenly, without a chance to say goodbye. Police and rescue squads killed trying to help those who were wounded. Now I'm not a very patriotic person. In fact, I believe that our president is a complete dumbass, our economy is sagging because of the government's own fault, and millions of people have died for this country, simply because we couldn't mind our own business. However, because of thousands killed, my heart and prayers go out to them. I put this flag on my site as a
rememberance of them, and the tragedic event in which took place. Despite the faults I see and feel in the United States' system, I'm still proud to be an American. +

+ 09.07.01 + New AOL Icon; New Navigation; New Helper? -=Courtney=-
+Below is another Green Day AOL buddy icon I found at Ballericons. I created a new navigation frame on the side. For example you click on The Band (or Fan or Site) and a little menu should show up. Click on The Band (or Fan or Site) again and it'll close. So simple, my ass could figure it out. Let me know how you like it or if you like the other one better. Think wisely, it took me almost a fuckin' week to perfect it. No one ever fucking e-mails me about this page. Not even for fuckin' links exchange. Anyway, in other news, fucking Sum41 lost to bitchass Alicia Keys (name?) for Best New Artist with "I'm Fallin' (asleep to this fuckin' stupid song)". Then again, no one ever said MTV was smart. Green Day wasn't even nominated, but the Ramones made an appearance. Anyway again. My boyfriend Thad might help me with the page and I have another one, Phil (owner of nimrod. Online) willing to help. I'll keep you updated, if you care.+
+ P/S: Yes I'm in a fucking cursing mood today. Fuck fuckity fuck fuck fuck. +
+ 09.02.01 + Just Stuff. -=Courtney=-
+Yeah know I was gonna do some more updating last night, I really was. I only got the Videos page done. But before I knew it, we were on our way down to the Allentown Fair to see Blink182 and New Found Glory in concert. Awesome show. I thought since most of you guys listen to them, I'd post some of the pictures I got with my digital camera. We were pretty far away, since we didn't have tickets before hand, but then we moved and I zoomed in to get somewhat close. I didn't get very many of Blink 182 however, my stupid batteries in my camera were dying. After the concert, we walked to Wawa so I could get money from the ATM, and there was a guy there looking at us. He turned to us and he was like "So how did you guys like the show?" and we were chatting for awhile, then I noticed he had on an pass for the fair. When he left, I said to my friends that would be weird if he was like one of the guys from New Found Glory (I heard them before but never seen them). Then when I got home, I went on their website and looked at the band members, and he did sorta look like Jordan from NFG. I don't know if it really was him, but it was kinda weird. Anyway, here's those pix. Click on them to make them bigger. +

+The Videos page is somewhat up. I'm going to look for a alternative to see if maybe I can upload my videos for this page. Check back for that. +
+ 09.01.01 + New AOL Icon. -=Courtney=-
+Well I don't know if this AOL Icon is new to you, but I've never seen a Green Day AIM icon made from the little AOL guys. Well Bad Ass Buddies has finally done it. Don't have AIM? Get it here. Want the Green Day icon? Click on it below and then select yes when it asks if you would like it to become your buddy icon. It will be transparant when it appears on your AIM. +
+ FYI, among the other AIM icons Bad Ass Buddies has includes Sum41, Operation Ivy, Pennywise, Weezer, The Offspring, Blink 182, and lots more! In other news, I'll be trying to work on more pages throughout the day. Also happy 10 months to me and Thad! :) +
+ 08.31.01 + New link. -=Courtney=-
+I'm just letting you know that a new site, The Green Day Fan Directory is up. This page features all links to Green Day webpages made by fans all over the world, and holy shit there is a lot. Now if you still can't find a Green Day site to call your favorite, there's something wrong. There's fuckin' sites on there even I have never been too. So be sure to check it out.
+ 08.30.01 + Eh. -=Courtney=-
+ Green Day recently won Kerrang's Award for Classic Songwriter. All together, they were nominated for 3 awards; Classic Songwriter which they won, Best International Live Act (lost to Papa Roach), & Best Band in the World (lost to Slipknot). No offense Slipknot fans, but Green Day really got fucked on that award. Anyway, see a picture of Billie Joe from the Awards Ceremony below this post. 'International Superhits' is confirmed
for release on November 6, 2001, and will include 2 new songs, including Maria. A video for one of those unreleased tracks is also expected to be filmed soon. +
Click to make bigger.
+ Speaking of Maria, the webmaster of Green Day Fan Site was awesome enough to let me use his mp3 of Maria on this site....a real one this time folks. I heard it for the first time and I think it's awesome! Now you can hear it too, just click here to download it. Green Day Fan Site was also listed as an
affiliate. And while we're on the subject of websites, The Billie Joe Obcession Network has pictures of Green Day's Behind the Music episode if you missed it. As for this site, Maria was added to the Multimedia section, the Downloads page is complete, and the Discography & Lyrics page is getting closer to completing also. I'm still looking for a co-webmaster or 2, but from the looks of it, it seems like nobody can help me. *sigh* And one more
bone I need to pick with you guys, sign my guestbook dammit. +
+ 08.22.01 + News, news, news. -=Courtney=-
+ Well you probably already heard, but today, Green Day released a live EP...for Japan...dammit. The track list includes Church on Sunday, Castaway, Blood Sex and Booze, King for a Day, Waiting, Minority, and Macy's Day Parade. You can see the picture of the album cover below. And thanks to 409 Online for that little tidbit of info. +
+Live audio from Green Day's performance at the Reading Festival will be broadcasted Friday, August 24 on www.e4.com. And one more thing, if anyone has an mp3 of Maria, please let me know where I can find the damn thing! +
+ 08.14.01 + Monkeys Steal my Underwear at Night -=Courtney=-
+Well if you haven't picked up the American Pie 2 soundtrack, I suggest you head over to CDNow and get it. It's fucking great. Well I was flipping through CosmoGirl! while I was bored and I came across a section called Hi My Name Is... on page 42. It's sorta like a little quiz for all the teenyboppers. Anyway Green Day was among the 3 artists listed that you had to match up with how they got their name. And ya know what the "answer" for Green Day was? "When they annonced they were dropping out of school, their principal said they'd make it when there was one of these in hell.".....Where the hell did they come up with that?! A "Green Day" is a day of hanging out and smoking pot. Anyway, bitch at CosmoGirl! by clicking here. For this website,
I added 2 new affliates, and also the Lyrics and Discography page is up, even though it's not completely done. And...I STILL NEED ANOTHER CO-WEBMASTER!!!!!! Is there nobody that can help me? *sigh* In case I don't update, don't miss Green Day's concert at Asbury Park, NJ (in which I was at) on Reverb tomorrow, that is if you're lucky enough to have HBO. +
+ 08.06.01 + A fucking ton of shit! -=Courtney=-
+Green Day's awesome June 26 performance at Asbury Park, NJ will air on HBO's Reverb on August 15th. Look for me in the audience. :) That show was fucking awesome! I don't have HBO but hopefully someone will tape it for me. Just so you know, I fucked up that Maria MP3. It's actually Pinhead Gunpowder's New Blood. Sorry bout that. I tried downloading Maria on Kazaa, but they all were Sometimes I Don't Mind. Anyway, I heard Waiting featured on the commerical for Showtime's new comedy "Going to California". And last for Green Day news, the new greatest hit CD due out for November 5 is going to be called "International Superhits" and will also feature a DVD of all of the band's videos. Also the only other thing I have to tell you is that the multimedia page is up in The Band section. And if you care
I added a picture to my biography in The Site's section. Oh yeah I'm not gonna be around
this coming weekend, so don't cry if I don't e-mail you back right away. Oh yeah, one more thing, I'm still looking for a fucking webmaster goddamnit! +
