Hey everyone. I just got done writing my review of Saturday's show. And as promised, here it is for you guys to read. I got pretty emotional while writing it and even more so when I went back to read it.
'Next was "Wake Me Up When September Ends." This is also a very beautiful song and it has a lot of personal meaning to myself. Like Billie, my father also died when I was at a young age. So when Billie sang the line "like my father's come to pass..." I started tearing up. It was such a great moment during a beautiful song. I will never forget it.'

So invite all of you to read it by clicking here or you can read it on the forum. Let me know your opinions in the comments. I'm not a great writer so its not the best review ever.

Jimmy Fallon is hosting the Emmy's tonight, and he opened up with a musical intro saying good bye to all the TV shows that were cancelled or finished this year. He started out playing the piano as Elton John, and ended up dressed as Billie Joe (black clothes, red tie, poofy hair), and "sang" Time Of Your Life.

It was pretty damn funny, and you can watch the video below.

Updated with a better quality video.

Thanks for everyone who emailed us with this news.

Right now is this the best quality we've seen of the video (even though it's only the last part of the song). This is another new song Green Day performed in Denver (here's the video for Cigarettes and Valentines). We don't have the "official" title of the song yet, but, people have been calling it "Olivia" since it was first heard during a sound check earlier this tour (possibly last year, my investigative skills are feeling a bit lackluster today). Anyways, enjoy this lovely acoustic song. We'll post a longer version when we get one. At this point we can only hope they include this song on the upcoming live album as well.

Thanks to Emmanuelle L. for sending us the link.

As Matt mentioned in an earlier post, Green Day played Cigarettes and Valentines at last nights Denver show. The song was recorded for the upcoming live album.

Here's a video of the 'new' song.

Thanks to ncmarek2 for emailing us a link to the video.

Holy. F'ing. Sh*t. Just got back to my hotel from the Denver concert with Alex, J'net, and Tony. All I can say is "fucking amazing." There are no other words to describe that show. It was awesome to say the least.

So here is a short recap for the time being until I'm in a normal state to post a full recap.

Of course, they started the show with 21CB, KYE, EJN, and Holiday. Then, they went into MURDER CITY! That was awesome to see live.

But the biggest thing of the night was that the band played a song they have only played live once... and it was at the San Jose sound check. Anyone know what song I'm talking about? CIGARETTES AND VALENTINES! And they played it TWICE in-a-row!! That is a GREAT song and I hope that it will be released some day.... oh wait...... IT WILL!! More exciting news.... Billie confirm his Tweet from a few days ago... the band WILL be releasing a live album. And Cigs and Vals will be on it! He didn't mention a date or time frame but hopefully soon!

Also, Billie played ANOTHER unreleased song..... OLIVIA! It was a short version of it but it was GREAT none-the-less.

That's all I've got for tonight at the moment. I will try and get something up tomorrow or Monday with a full recap from the show. Sorry if my words don't make sense.... I'm half dead right now from the show.
